Redline MT 90 is the best overall oil for a colder climate..won't cure all the aches & pains...but its sure worth a try...Just remember that every time it grinds into a gear, it takes a bit off of the 2nd gear syncro teeth. Any thing you can do will prolong its life before needing a rebuild...(I will like it, but you sure won't) I have some customers using Redlne MTL in the Yukon Territory successfully ...may not be the EXACT oil , but its close and a bit thinner than the MT90 for better cold shifting...Good Luck & shift slowly :) Daryl of AA Transaxle Duvall, WA.(Seattle area) (425) 788-4070 1-877-377-0773 toll free http://www.aatransaxle.com (web site) On Tue, 10 Oct 2000 19:50:24 -0400 Michael David Korsak <mdk166@PSU.EDU> writes: > Hey everybody, > With the cold weather we've been having here in central PA, i've > noticed > some really hard shifting into 2nd gear on my manual 2.1l westy.
