I have an '88 Westy with H&R springs and KYB shocks and there is a definite forward rake. It is enough that when I first got in the van after the spring change, I felt like I was sliding off the seat. Ride is definately harsh. I can however, fit into most garages. We did side-side measurements and pictures, and test drives. The HR springs are slightly lower on the front, and a lot lower on the back. His van is level, and mine has the slightly raised back end. Mine looks more like the stock Carat height (and ride) which is what I wanted. The HR springs gave a harsher, more sport-tuned ride than the BD Boge springs.
