Can anyone advise me of what hoops have to be jumped through and potential
problems in purchasing a 1989 Westie GL 4sp (supposedly in immaculate
condition w/good motor) that is registered in Ohio.  I would put a deposit
on it, have a mechanic check it out (any recommendations in the Cinci
area?), give a cashier's cheque, and then drive back to the San Francisco
Bay Area....probably will need chains.

Anyway, comments?
