Thanks for all the replies and comments - even the funny ones.  I drove
the van today and liked it.  There is not a scratch or any bit of rust
on the van.  Everything was functional.

Acceleration was OK, but cornering was a bit more difficult than I
expected - you really have to slow it down.  I noticed too that is does
not like speed bumps very well.  Maybe new shocks will help.

I'm in the San Francisco Bay area, so if anyone knows a good mechanic in
the area, please let me know.
