After cleaning out all the broken bits pieces from my plugged up catalytic
converter and muffler/tail piece and readjusting the idle / timing.,
My 83.5 digijet Wasserboxer runs better than ever, EXCEPT for a reduction in
MPG (From 18mpg to 15 mpg) and a over rich stench at all speeds/loads.  The
sound with a clear pipe is louder and hollow and I will be replacing the Cat
before it is smogged in the spring. My Oxy sensor indicator light says it is
OK. Got any Ideas?
