I noticed an ECU from an 87 was available on the list and I was wondering if the ECU was exchangeable on all 2.1 l Vanagons or were they unique on certain year or model ranges? I have an 88 GL and wanted to know if I can pick up one from some other year vehicle. TIA. Bill Hayeslip 88 GL Pgh., Pa
