The H4s from David Marshall are worth every penny.  The low beams are
excellent, I almost never use my high beams, but I do sometimes anyway :).
This past weekend I went to Bustoberfest in Nebraska, on the way there I
decided to test out my high beams, I got reflections off of road signs up to
1.1 miles away, on hilly roads.  I was impressed.  The H4s have an excellent
pattern and put more light on the road, not in other drivers eyes, low beams

As for breaking the lenses I have a set of clean lexan headlight covers from
Ron at The Bus Depot.
