In replacing the braided fuel lines going from the hard plastic tubes to the expansion tank on the right front wheelwell, I found that the braided lines going from the tubes to the gas tank are also pretty rotted (and chafing against metal). Has anyone replaced those lines _without_ dropping the tank? I'm hoping for a quick fix and don't want to have to drop the tank before our trip. I'm just not sure I can get to the clamp on the braided line that fastens to the tank from the outside, even if I jack up the van and remove the wheel.
