No comments about the Syncro application, but I just put a set of Yokohama
Geolander AT+'s on my '82 Westfalia in the LT 215/75x15 size and I have been
very impressed. They clear everywhere and fill the wheelwell as if they were
designed for the application. However, they just fit. The clearance to tie
rods, fenderwells, brake lines is just mm. at full deflection. I would say
that this the largest tire that can be fitted without cutting.

The on road tracking is very good and by the seat of the pants, they appear
more stable than the 27-8.50x14 's that I was running (Best 14 inch tire I
ever put on this thing - at least in the last 18 years and 5 months).
