There is a book called The Sensible Cruising guide or the guide to sensible
cruising  I do not remember which... it was written by L. Francis
Herreshoff... he devotes an entire chapter to the operation and maintenance
of the cedar bucket... this is chapter and verse for the bucket and chuck-it
