I just wanted to drop a note to the List to let folks know that I have
several sets of the South African Vanagon Alloy Rims in stock.  I am asking
$200 each rim if you buy a set of 4 or $220 if you need to buy just one rim
for some reason.  These prices do include the centercap but do not include

All of the rims have some small cosmetic blemishes, nicks, scratches, or
dings, but are all straight and the blemishes are minor (you will notice them
when you get the rims, but once they are mounted on the van they aren't very
noticeable).

If you don't have alloy rims on your van now you will need the alloy rim
bolt/nut package to properly mount these rims (no longer rear studs are
needed).  This package is $50.

I also have the larger brake kits available which work only with these larger
rims.  For 80-85 Vanagons the kit is $750 (note price increase), 86-91
Vanagon- $600, and Syncro $550 (Syncro kits are not quite ready yet, but now
is the time to order).  These big brake kits include larger, vented front
discs, calipers, pads, hoses, and all the necessary parts to make the kit
work.  All of the parts are VW and new.  If you were planning on redoing your
front brakes anyway now is the time to do this conversion.
