Neither are Corvettes, Trans Ams, Vipers or Nissan 300ZXs (and the only car mentioned here with any sportiness, or any pretension to handling ability at all, is Japanese). They are what can be called "personal coupes". A sportscar is a Porsche, MR2, NSX or Countach etc. Or (yech) MG or Lotus.
