heres some more sunroof van trivia:
 the sunroof was a rare, but available option on the vanagons from '80-'87
(here int he US).  in '86 when VW went to the rear a/c evap w/ the a/c tunnel
running the full length of the cieling the sunroof vans became almost
nonexistant, but there were a few made.  in '87 VW stopped importing the
sunroof vanagons, and nearly all '88-'91 Vanagons had the overhead a/c.
