In politically correct Germany they have 'Frauenparkpl�tze'* - Women's Parking
Places. When my father and I drove through Germany (in my Vanagon, RVC) the other
day I told him about these. His question was: "So what's so special about these
spaces, are they extra wide so they're easier for women to park in?"

I didn't get round to explaining that these are extra safe spaces, well lit,
close to the exit, etc. because I couldn't stop laughing. My mother was less
amused.
