Some correction/clarification is in order here. First of all, the part numbers for the correct tri-electrode Bosch plugs for a Vanagon are W7DTC or WR7DTC - not W7TDC as erroneously mentioned in the below post. (Note letter reversal.) The only difference between the W7 and the WR7 is that the latter adds a resistor to prevent radio interference from your engine electrical system. That is the one that we stock, for $3.75 each. (If purchased as part of a $50+ order, you get an additional 5% listmember discount on request.) Incidentally, Joel is correct that these are for all watercooled Vanagons (except diesel of course) - not just '85. If you want the stock, single-electrode Bosch plugs (basically equivalent to the W7CC0 that came factory-installed), that's the W7CC, and they run $1.25 each. These are the plugs that we include with our tune-up kits, and are what the vast majority of Vanagon owners buy. There is also a Platinum Plug, the 4233, for $2.49 each, but for my money if I were going to upgrade over the stock plugs I'd jump right to the tri-electrode WR7DTC's. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW > the Bosch W7CC0 and Beru 14L-7CU/14L-7C are > the recommended ones in the owners manuals.
