Subject:Re: Rev Limiter

If you really want a Rev limiter you can install an MSD ignition. They have chips
so you can vary the rev limit. It will cost you somewhere around $250 or maybe more
for the ones that let you set the rev limit. You should check carefully to make
sure they have a chip with a low enough limit as these are mainly designed for
racing applications so the limits may be higher. I have never run one, I have just
done some research on them, so I have no first hand experience.
Someone mentioned that it would be an "engineering feat" for a rev limiting rotor
under $10. If I remember right I thought the rev limiting rotors were about
$25-$30.
hope this helps,
