My 90 Gl with 157k has these wear marks but I have a Hans and Franz theory about this,: "You see you pitiful looosa, only rrrrock hahd legs like mine will vere off ze paint. Here me now and pay attention latah, for your legs are so soft they will cause a Flabalanch the very next time you valk. Yah, your Flabomastah legs will polish the door sill paint, not scrape it off like mine do. dimwitted Pumptential -----Original Message----- From: David Marshall <vanagon@VOLKSWAGEN.ORG> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Date: Sunday, November 26, 2000 9:12 PM Subject: Butt marks on door jam! >I noticed a curious thing today on my Westfalia.
