I don't quite understand, I've had mine for 11 years (250K) and no wear, however I must mention up here in the pacific north west (god's country, if anyone was wondering exactly where that was) it is so wet from the rain that if one were to even slide across the wheel well you have trashed your pants..... therefore I have been trained through agonizing experience.
