Thanks to everyone who has responded to my dilemma (quoted below).  I'm
trying to sort through the sometimes conflicting advice to figure out where
I should go from here.

Does anyone happen to have had any experience with Ken Kettell of Autoworks
Performance in Mount Kisco NY?  He's the guy selling the vehicle.
