Do you have more information on this? What would be the range of cost on this product? I was thinking of using a type of aircraft insulation which is insulation baffled inbetween fabric like a quilt. Yet the fabric and isulation used is somewhat exotic as far as price and performance comepared to the needs that I face. If it is more economical and performs well this may be a good solution. Now for a heater :) Namaste Stephen '85 Westy -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM]On Behalf Of Steve Lashley Sent: Thursday, December 07, 2000 11:50 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: Insulation In a message dated 12/7/00 5:19:47 PM, wdavidson@THEGRID.NET writes: << but I have read here on the list of some who have cut up the foil/bubble insulation that you can get in hardware stores... comes on rolls.... it's about 1/4 inch think I think .... I have samples of it, and it has 7 or more layers. Insulation kits are available that line your poptop canvas and attach with snaps or velcro. I have several sets on order from Germany, but may not have them until next month.
