Paul,

Only you can decide whether or not to use the muffler.  Some alternatives are:
1. Have the Bus Depot send you a replacement via Fed Ex next day service and
issue a Call Tag to pick up the damaged goods, all on their dime of course.
2. Have the Bus Depot issue a Call Tag for the damaged goods to be returned
for a refund and then buy a Wagner muffler from your local parts store.
