Hi all,

I just finished an antenna replacement, 90 GL.  So what they say..... true,
but I did complete it and only had to remove the instrument panel 4 time...
dropped screws, tach didn't work etc... In any case why I am offering this
comment?  I found at our local after market VW shop a replacement antenna
that fits like original for only $13.95 as opposed to the VW stock one for
$50.  This one is made be "HARADA" part number 251 035 503A made for "VW
Beetle, 68 UP".  The nut and outside bushing from the original fit on it.

That's my $0.02 for the day.
