Last winter mine started dropping coolant on the ground.:>(
I put the small container of liquid Bar's into  the reservoir, and I've
lost nothing since.
No over heating due to a plugged radiator, no loss of heat due to
plugged heater core.
It worked for me.:>)
Could possibly work for you.
