I bought a pair of European, H4 halogen HELLA headlamps from Susquehanna
Motorsports for less than $70 plus shipping.  They drop right in.  I doubt if
you will find a better price and I know you will not find a better lamp using
the stock arrangement.  Considering the improvement they make, the Hella's
are a rare bargain.
