I have two comments:

Keith, I've owned a Previa w/ big wipers and no wiper cover or cowling. They
don't whistle even @ 90mph plus.

Chris, Previa drivetrains are actually under the driver's seat. It does not
intrude into the passenger compartment at all. A PITA to work on but
definitely out of the way.
