Not concerned about what builds up on the outside of the filter... it's what
it passes through it that creates the problem... and this won't necessarily
show up after one trip into the desert.... Rest your case if you like, but I
don't think you can tell anything from the Cairo Report post regarding the
safety of using a K&N filter.
