Phil,
Mine isn't permanent.
I stuck the prickly side of velcro to the bottom, to keep it from
sliding around.
Then if I want to go in back that way, I pick it up a bit and slide it
out of the way.
Easy.
I defiantly like the front and rear beverage holders in the console,
much better than the door, or side panel "hang ons"
