Near as I can tell it's a 7mm 12-pointer. I was able to use a regular 7 mm
6-pointer with some care on the rear CV's of my 16" Syncro. It should be the
same as other Vanagons.

The 6 mm 12-pointer for the Golfs is definitely too small. I tried it.
