My wife's '88 Jetta GL just experienced a total blowout of the outboard
driver side CV Joint - No Go.  I hate to pull the "82 Westy Diesel out of
Winter hibernation but I may have to.  Pardon the non-vanagon question but in
the interest of saving a 39k Diesel Westy from the ravages of a Northern Ohio
winter, could someone tell me what size 12 point male wrench loosens the six
head bolts on these Jetta's.  Dealer was very vague and described it as
"professional tool" not readily available!  My flaps however has 12 points.
Is it an 8mm?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
