To make the sears gauge work without cutting off the Schraeder fitting is to
get an air stem valve that goes in an auto tire and cut off all the rubber.

Then put a piece of fuel line on one side of the air stem valve the other end
will then screw into the Sears Schraeder valve fitted hose end.
