Mike,

That was Joel Walker's guess too. I've looked at every inch of it but can't
find any obvious leak. I will sprinkle some powder inside and try to find a
leak that way.

I was wondering if there was a fresh air intake which may be clogged by
leaves or something. I always have these type of problems in my other VW's.
