 Well of COURSE!..the engine is out as the PO had walked away and left it
running...with a bad head gasket....came back and the upper hose had
exploded..he had and new one but I thought I had one (the 82 is different)
and he could retrun his..
the head got so hot that the insulation on the glow plugs was starting to
drip and sag..the block is good (and ready for honing) the head? err one
thing at a time...
Raceware studs and a good used head and I'm back on the road..
Oh and I'll ahve a 85 sunroof van for sale when that happens..I bought it 2
weeks before I got the 83 westy..I NEEDED a van..you know how it is....but
TWO vans???
