I was doing flight testing at Grob outside of Munich this fall and was stopped cold..there in the hanger was a Grob 109B "motorglider"..and the powerplant was exposed. It was a a 1983 vangon 2.0 liter fitted witih dual strombergs and a prop drive, magneto etc etc... The photo here is of the beetle based engine, but you get the idea... http://click.go2net.com/adclick?cid=0002a5b70000000000000000&area=results.lyco s&site=DP&shape=textlink&clickurl=http%3A//click.hotbot.com/director.asp%3Fid% 3D5%26target%3Dhttp%3A//www.limflug.de/doc/eng/wir.htm%26query%3D%252BGrob%2B% 252BG-109%2B%252BB%26rsource%3DLCOSWFW The advertised HP is 90 and it's listed as a 2.5 liter...you hot rod types might want to see about buying a set of "out of time" heads, cylinders etc...... Well *I* thought it was cool....... steve... "Hey! nice Jeep, Mister!" "Look kid, it's NOTAJEEP"
