I think a good number of us are interested in following posts that are slightly off topic--like occassional threads about recommendations on other VW models which many of us own, the introduction of the "concept" 2002 Microbus, talk of the VW Sharan or New Beetle, or even other marques altogether within reason. >> I agree. I have asked several questions pertaining to my 85 Jetta, and gotten a lot of help from the people on the list who had similar experiences. It's a VW, and EVERY person on this list owns one. Most have 2 or more, as I do. Now how many people here own Things? Probably quite a few. I personally don't, and know nothing about them, except what they look like. But say I wanted one as well. He posts asking what to look for in buying one, I could benefit from the answer as well. This list is here to help people, not to bash them. My 2 cents. I'll shut up now before someone screams at me for saying he word Thing with a question mark after it. --Paul-- 83.5 Vanagon Westy 85 Jetta GLI \X/
