Tom and fellow List Members,

The amount of SPAM appearing on the List has passed my tolerance level. This
nuisance, together with the real threat of VIRUSes, suggests that perhaps it is
time to close the door. If we returned to a closed list with just list
subscribers submitting, these nuisance could be stopped dead.
