Dang her black heart anyway. I really don't need this grief. Here's the update. * We're at a point that the beast will fire a couple of times while cranking, right at first, but will not do more than that as you hold key cranking. * Battery new, and Bill's using a boost/charger anyway so maybe a moot point. * Contacts at both the injectors and at the ECU look clean. * Fuel pressure good, holds residual pressure, pressure drops if you manually fire the injectors, pressure regulator new. * New plugs and coil, and many of the connections rewired due to corrosion. Grounds checked for corrosion and grounded if needed. * Plug wires in correct order (1 and 2 were reversed - oops, my fault) * Getting a signal to the injectors as indicated by a test light. Still to check: * Run wire from Battery to Alternator to bypass connection at the starter. Apparently this connection can get corroded. * Install ground wire chassis to engine. The left side original disintegrated in my hands. Not sure what's left. (At Tranny nose, at right side?) * Hot wire the coil from the alternator, to check the ignition switch. * New Plug wires? Any one got any thoughts?? I'm sure that I might have missed something we did already but ..... uunnnnnhhh. (sleep is highly overrated, don't you think?)
