I have an '85 Westy.  I just lit my gas fridge for the first time.  I bought
this van from the original owner about a year ago.  He said the gas feature
of the fridge was never used.

I have a slight odor that I can't identify.  It smells a little like a
plastic bag melting on a hot surface.  It is very faint.  Sound familiar?

How hot should the outside vent get?  Mine is only mildly warm.

Is it ok to leave the fridge on in gas mode when driving?
