Hello folks,
I have yet another Vanagon ('84) in my sights...
SUPER cheap, and the guy says the rods are knocking pretty hard...
I am thinking about getting a Tiilco, so I just need to figure out whether
I could patch it up enough to drive it 50 miles home...
When the rods are knocking that means that something between the rockers
and that cam is slack right???
Assuming that, I should read up on hydro-valves / rocker adjustments?
Or am I totally off?
Please advise...
Thanks,
Jason Loewenstein (Marysville / Tulalip)
