I've never been much interested in Synchros because of their high
acquisition and maintenance costs, but I've recently moved north, and I find
myself in need of a 4wd van. I don't see many options in that field, and of
course I'm a Vanagon fan.

Was the Synchro offered in Carat form? My wife's '89 Carat in 4wd would be
perfect. What would such a beast sell for in good condition? I'm in Central
PA.
