You are a very discerning man and I agree with you fully.  Back in the Dark
Ages, when my good buddy decided to settle down (i.e., his girlfriend was
pregnant), he traded his Speedwell-kitted MGB/GT on a '68 4-door Slant Six
Valiant.  He ordered it with a 3-spd on the floor, handling package and a
police interior.  You might recall that car manufacturers used to let you do
those kind of things before they took your money.  It was a stripper and it
was a great automobile!  Not only was it all anyone needed in a car, it was
also fun to drive.
