A friend has such a set-up. He used a one gallon plastic gas "can" with a
pipe fitting. The heater was already in place when he got the van so I can't
tell you what a PITA it was to install. The van was originally diesel but was
converted to an I-4 gas engine. That's how the diesel heater came to be in
this particular van.
