how about a little bungie cord, making sure ofcourse that
bungie won't string up and wack ya. but then again the oil cap
was made for this huh?? VW guys make ya think :)

1) my foot- i step on it on the bumper
2) or- the oil cap fits well as a means to jam it open if you put it on
it's side with long axis perpendicular to the ground and short axis perp
to the liscense plate.

Or just take the spring out of the liscnese plate i suppose.
