Uh, I would *NOT* supply a diesel heater with gasoline, unless you
want to make a claim on your life insurance. I'm not an expert on
this issue, but it screams "VERY BAD IDEA" to me. Diesel and
gasoline are very different animals. I'll let the mechanics /
engineers weigh in on this.

Look: if you really want an aux heater, why not do a swap? Pull the
diesel heater. Sell it to me, fer goshsakes! Find a gas heater from
a donor car. (they *are* around, I found a BA-6 gas heater in a dead
bus ($50) and pulled it for fellow listee Craig Angus--works fine).
Or get yourself a Carver/propex/whatever propane furnace, mount it
under the rear seat, and be done with it. The furnaces are nice with
electronic thermostatic control--we had a propex in our old '76 westy
and it was *nice* and no gas heater scariness!

I'd love to have a DA-6 (Diesel heater). I'm sure lots of diesel
campers would like one. You shouldn't have any trouble finding
someone interested in it.

Just my CDN$0.02.
