Another big idea,

I've been thinking off installing some lighting (a deep blue color)
under the body of my Vanagon so I get a soft deep blue glow at night all
around the van. I do not want to see any points of light though. Just
the glow. I am considering the tube style lighting you see around but do
not think it will be bright enough. I could be wrong. I was then
considering the same tube lighting seen in a home using house current
(converter needed) to make it brighter but not sure if it makes any
difference. Then of course it has to be mounted and be able to stand up
to spray washings and so on.  Any experience out there regarding this?
