Dear George,

You should seriously consider installing a 1.9 TD -- some have already done
this and they love it -- plenty of power! Requires a custom left engine
mount to clear the turbocharger and lots of little changes to air intakes,
plubing, etc..

Hi I was referrd to you bt daryl the trans man. I'm thinking of replacing
the
original 1.6 in my Westfalia 82 vanagon when it finally goes. Would
appreciate some advice from those who have been there, I like diesels just
need more power and top speed, have you heard this before? Any advice and
people you recomend to deal with?  Love my van and plan to keep it forever.
