Here is my response to your two points and a question for eveyones benefit.

Please forgive me if you feel that you have been misled by my posting, that
was certainly not my intent. But, as far as I am concerned my syncro is for
sale...to the highest bidder.  If it wasn't on ebay it would still be sold
to the person with the best offer over my minimum price.  No difference at
all.

As far as the price goes, I know someone is going to get a real good deal
here.  You are absolutely right, I don't know what the final price will be,
but I'm certain it will be well below the price of what others are asking
for similar syncro westfalias in my area. I wouldn't know the final price if
I was selling it outright either.  I have no way to know in advance exactly
what someone else is willing to pay, do I?

The towing package consists of a towing hitch and wiring for a trailer.  I
never said anything about it being a factory option and I don't know why you
would presume it was.

As far as my credibility, if you are not comfortable with me or my van don't
bid! You have made some petty accusations about my credibility when you know
nothing about me.  I really don't care what you think.  You aren't going to
buy it anyway are you?  If that is the case I don't understand why you care.
  The people on this list are intelligent people.  I would expect that if
they are interested that they will inspect it themselves or have it
inspected before they bid.

I am simply trying to sell my van at a fair price and give someone a good
deal.  Any one interested is free to come and check it out for themselves or
have a mechanic check it out for them.  I have nothing to hide.

Please let me know if there are any other points or questions that you feel
need to be addressed.
