Hi

Has anyone ever created a big bore diesel engine larger than a 1.9 to fit in a Vanagon? Maybe I watch too much Hot Rod TV but I would like to look into such a project if it is feasible. Does the VW diesel allow for much modification? What challenges would a new fuel system present?
