The Haynes manual covers 1982 to 1990 petrol (gasoline) powered,
watercooled VW Transporters (van, pickup and mini-bus). It does NOT cover
diesel or syncro. It does NOT cover camper conversions (Westy). It's
English. Check out:
            www.haynes.co.uk
It's available from The Bus Depot.

Haynes does publish a manual for air-cooled engines (No. 0638) but I don't
know if it is available in the U.S.
