Welcome to Vanagonland.  I'm sure your Westy will be the envy of the
neighborhood.

The only thing I can add to the advice you have gotten so far is have your
windows tinted, wow what a difference!  We were in FL last year and had it
done, it was like the A/C worked again (well almost).  I don't know where
you are in FL but I can recommend someone in the Fort Walton Beach area if
that's anywhere near you.
