In Iowa City, I pay $249 for six months coverage on a 1985 Vanagon and a
1996 Passat.  I carry no collision or comprehensive on the Vanagon.  It
should be noted that Iowans pay less for insurance than any state in the
USA.  I consider it insurance against hitting deer.
